The mental toughness I'm talking about means being able to control your emotions in business situations. You have to develop a thick skin. You do this by getting in front of a planned number of prospects each day either on the phone or face to face.

What will make you mentally tough aren't the people who will become distributors or people who decline your offer. It's those who will laugh at you and ridicule the whole network marketing concept that will build your thick skin and help you become rejection proof. Those people will either strengthen you emotionally or run you out of the business.

The secret to becoming rejection proof is mental preparation. You need to understand ahead of time that it's not going to be easy. You are going to be told "no" and laughed at and told you are involved in a scam constantly.

You are going to be told that you are living a pipe dream and that these kinds of businesses never work. More people are going to tell you "no" than those who will say "yes." It's that simple.

You need to be prepared for this ahead of time and understand that it's nothing personal. People aren't rejecting you. They are rejecting your opportunity because they either don't believe in themselves or don't believe that there really is a way out of their miserable lives.

Becoming rejection proof takes work. Don't give in to people's negativity. If you stay the course, your chances of being successful in this business increase greatly.
